28 Mary Street St Kilda. B&B accommodation tripadvisor reviews

St Kilda
During the Victorian period, St Kilda became a popular seaside resort due to its close proximity to the city centre but since its heyday it has flourished into a trendy and cosmopolitan suburb of Melbourne.

St Kilda is famous for its food, (Di Stasio, Circa The Prince, Family Lau, Tolano’s, to name a few) and for its entertainment and nightlife. Acland Street is a bustling shopping precinct famous for its cafes, continental cake shops and young fashion, whilst Fitzroy Street is renowned for its restaurants, hotels and bars. The most famous attraction on St Kilda’s beach is the St Kilda Pier built in 1904 and the St Kilda Sea Baths.

A network of tranquil pathways line St Kilda’s scenic foreshore, making it ideal for bicycle riding, rollerblading, jogging and walking. Only metres away, the St Kilda Marina features waterfront restaurants and a public boardwalk. In addition, St Kilda is home to the 6.5 hectare heritage-listed St Kilda Botanic Gardens and the O’Donnell Gardens with its towering palm trees located right next to the famous Luna Park. St Kilda is a discerning, multicultural community who love their suburb and wouldn’t live anywhere else.
